The 5 % cobalt alloy, the HSS step drill bit, offers special heat resistance, ensuring a long service life and excellent cutting performance. Sheet steel, wood and plastic panels up to 4 mm thick as well as stainless steel and non-ferrous metals up to a thickness of 1.5 mm
can be tapped, drilled to the required diameter and deburred in a single operation. Thanks to the trihedral shank, the step drills can be clamped absolutely centered in any drilling machine.
The cross-ground drill tip provides a secure hold on the workpiece when drilling. The 3-piece set contains the sizes 4 - 12 mm, 4 - 20 mm and 4 - 30 mm. The sturdy ABS plastic box provides perfect storage space and protection for the drill bits.
When opened, the box presents the drills very clearly, sorted by size.
